Giraffe Children’s LibraryBranding & Identity Design12.2016
‘Giraffe’ provides educational support to children of primary-school age in the Akropong Akuapem Township in Ghana. Providing regular access to books and other educational resources through a ‘mobile library’ travelling between several primary schools, ‘giraffe.’ encourages children to learn with excitement and curiosity, becoming confident and taking greater pride in their education.

My concept made use of all these sensibilities, I developed. an identity that focused a lot on illustration to make the brand quite accessible, intuitive and easily understandble through bold visuals.

Color also plays a very major role in this dissemination of understanding. The colors make it quite easy to segment things like books and other categorized learning materials. On the website, the coloors applied in a way to break up the pages, and that’s a practical digital use case for color on their website.
